Their focu s is tri-fold: environmental education programs\, food donation programs\ , and sustainable land management. Education programs run year-round and are for people of all ages\, ranging from tomato canning workshops to wee k-long summer camps to maple sugaring after-school programs. These commun ity-building programs are focused on connecting people to each other\, as well as to the land around them. Charitable food donations are another f undamental part of Land’s Sake’s history\; approximately 40\,000 pounds o f fresh produce were donated to Boston-area hunger relief organizations i n 2017. Land's Sake donates to Rosie's Place\, Lovin' Spoonfuls Food Resc ue\, the Weston Council on Aging\, Community Servings\, and more. They fo rmed a new partnership last year with the Community Day Center of Waltham \, the only drop-in day shelter in the MetroWest. Land’s Sake runs a suc cessful Community Shared Agriculture Program – CSA members pick up their share of freshly harvested vegetables weekly from June to October. Additi onally\, all are welcome to visit the Farm stand throughout the summer to pick up daily-harvested vegetables and other local delicacies\, such as bread\, jam\, and cookies.
