The Rotary club of Wellesley will recognize the achievements of the teen club it sponsors, Interact. The teens launched projects around Wellesley to personally interact for at least an hour with 440 students and created measurable outcomes. Elements of the project have reached other communities in Virginia and Puerto Rico. The presentation will summarize the Wellness Project outcomes and there will be comments by graduate student Colette Buser from the University of Richmond, Interact teen leaders and project leader Bob Anthony.
All are welcome to:
- share a meal with the Interact teens
- hear the latest in depression awareness and prevention
- learn what is immediately practical for every community to implement
- celebrate remarkable accomplishments by teens
