DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Wellesley is proud to again offer its “Tas
 te of Wellesley" annual fundraiser to support our community. The event wil
 l again feature a wide variety of signature dishes from Wellesley restaura
 nts\, cafes\, and caterers\, along with live music. We will be hosting the
  event at the Wellesley Country Club on Wednesday May 20th\, 2026 from 6:3
 0 until 9 pm. This year’s theme is again Fighting Food Insecurity. All o
 f us are experiencing significantly higher costs for food\, a necessity fo
 r life. For the 400+ low-income families and seniors living in our communi
 ty\, food insecurity has become a much bigger issue. The students at Mass 
 Bay Community College and our homeless veterans are also grappling with fo
 od insecurity. The proceeds raised from Taste of Wellesley 2024 will provi
 de meals for our low-income residents and direct support to students of Ma
 ss Bay and organizations that support homeless veterans. This year\, food 
 insecurity among our low-income families and seniors\, Mass Bay Community 
 College students\, and veterans is more significant\, as food prices conti
 nue to rise for everyone. Our Rotarians intend to work with our partners a
 t the Village Table\, Land’s Sake Farm\, Wellesley Housing Authority\, M
 ass Bay Community College and organizations serving veterans to provide me
 als prepared by volunteers   and members of the Rotary Club. They will p
 urchase. prepare and distribute meals to those in need. It is through the 
 generosity of our Wellesley restaurants and local wineries\, breweries\, c
 hocolatiers\, and caterers that we can bring this event to Wellesley. Plea
 se thank our local restaurants for their participation in this worthwhile 
 cause. Our 2025 Taste of Wellesley raised over $ 57\,000 from ticket sales
 \, sponsorships and the silent auction and at the same time\, provide a wo
 nderful evening of food\, beverages\, live entertainment and opportunities
