DINNER GUIDELINES (WEEKEND) The n umber of people required for the dinner meal is 10 – please sign in on th e roster when you arrive. Volunteers will be utilized both behind the lin e serving a prepared meal to the Veteran residents\, assisting mobility-d isabled Veterans with their trays and providing wait-staff support in the dining hall. Dinner is served from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Please plan to arri ve 15 minutes prior (3:45pm) to the beginning of the shift for a briefing from the staff. Hair must be tied back. Baseball caps must be worn or pa per kitchen caps will be provided. (No visors). Aprons and gloves will be provided. Casual attire is appropriate but no shorts\, sleeveless shirts or tank tops. No open-toed shoes or sandals. Please note that due to safety precautions\, staffing considerations and space limitations\, all volunteers and guests must be 18 years of age or older. We strongly u rge the use of public transportation as on-street parking is very limited at our location in the Government Center area.
