Wellesley High School Singers Entertain the Wellesley Rotary Club 12-16-14

 

 

Director of Choral Activities at Wellesley High School and at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church led twenty-two members (of 240) from the combined ensemble of High School Keynote and Rice Street Singers. They presented eleven songs of the season a cappella style. Included were “Rock Around the Christmas Tree” with many traditional and pop versions of Christmas and Hanukkah songs. They were full of enthusiasm and spirit. Dr.

McDonald gave us background on all the groups, how they were trained, and their very active and ambitious programs throughout the school year. On December 26th and 27th they will be singing with the Boston Pops Orchestra at Boston Symphony Hall in “Home Alone in Concert”, part of the Holiday Pops Season. Our thanks for a great performance, a memorable way to celebrate the holidays and end the year.
