Each year for over the past twenty years, every fourth grader in Wellesley is given a tree to plant at home in honor of Arbor Day.
Suzy Jordon, Wellesley's Town Horticultural Technician, leads a group of 12 volunteers in bagging over 400 tree saplings with dirt in plastic bags for distribution to all fourth graders.
It is a fun project and only takes 2 hours. We gather at the DPW at 4:00 PM. Please join us!
Check out last year's video.
